Minding the gap
One of the major effects of Brexit has been the uncertainty experienced both by British citizens living in the EU and by citizens of other EU countries living in the UK about their future status. The uncertainty has now finally coming to an end as the UK left the EU on 31 January 2020 and the Withdrawal Agreement has come into effect.

After that all Britons in France will need to apply for a new status under the Withdrawal Agreement - a status that is based on the rights that we enjoyed as EU citizens. But we know from more than 3 years of campaign, advocacy and information work that far too many people know little about what their rights actually are.
